See Amazon's announcement (in Japanese)
The main sale has ended (it ran from Fri, Oct 16, 2026, 0:00 to Mon, Oct 19, 23:59 JST). Prices and discount rates are taken from each product's Amazon.co.jp page. Prices change from day to day, and also during and around the sale, so please check the current price on each product's Amazon page before buying.
How the Sale Works, and Tips to Use It Well
The Prime Appreciation Sale included a "points bonus campaign." After signing up during the entry period (Sept 24, 14:00 JST to Oct 19, 23:59 JST) on Amazon's official site, spending 10,000 yen (tax included) or more during the purchase period (Oct 13, 0:00 JST to Oct 19, 23:59 JST) earned bonus points, up to 10,000 time-limited points depending on how much you spend. Some products, including Apple products, are excluded. Check Amazon's official page for the full conditions.
During the main sale (Oct 16-19), there was a "daily featured deal" (厳選日替わりセール) where the discounted products changed each day. Amazon's official page notes that the comparison price is based on the same product's Amazon.co.jp price since January 1, 2026, not a promise about future prices. For anything you're considering, it's worth checking the product page itself before buying to see whether the deal is actually worth it.
Discounts on appliances can change day to day depending on stock and model, so it's worth checking the price trend for anything you're seriously considering.
If you're not a Prime member yet, a 30-day free trial lets you try Prime perks too.

Checks Before You Buy in a Sale
Basic checks that apply to any product you buy in a sale.
- Check the brand and model number match. Compare the brand and model number on the product page with what this article lists. Different colors and capacities often sit side by side.
- Compare the price on both Amazon and Rakuten Ichiba. Along with the listed price, look at shipping and points, which also change what you actually pay.
- See who is selling it. On Amazon check the seller and shipper; on Rakuten Ichiba check the shop name. Whether it ships from the manufacturer or a Marketplace third party can affect where to go for support.
- Check who handles support and warranty. For appliances, where to go for an initial defect can differ by seller, so it's worth checking the product page.
How We Chose These Products, and Sources
- Selection basis
- We chose from appliances that were genuinely discounted on Amazon.co.jp during the main sale, focusing on products not already covered in our early-sale roundup of 18 appliances.
- Amazon and Rakuten check
- For each product we looked at the product pages on Amazon and Rakuten Ichiba and listed it only if the brand and model number match. Products we could confirm on only one of the two are not listed.
- Sources of specs and photos
- Key specs come from the pages listed under each product's sources (manufacturer's official site, Rakuten Ichiba product pages and so on). Photos are product images from Amazon.co.jp.
- Prices
- Prices, reference prices and discount rates are taken from each product's Amazon.co.jp page (with the delivery address set to Japan). Prices change often, so please check the current price on each product's Amazon page.
