How the Sale Works, and Tips to Use It Well
The Prime Appreciation Sale included a "points bonus campaign." After signing up during the entry period (Sept 24, 14:00 JST to Oct 19, 23:59 JST) on Amazon's official site, spending 10,000 yen (tax included) or more during the purchase period (Oct 13, 0:00 JST to Oct 19, 23:59 JST) earned bonus points, up to 10,000 time-limited points depending on how much you spend. Some products, including Apple products, are excluded. Check Amazon's official page for the full conditions.
During the main sale (Oct 16-19), there was a "daily featured deal" (厳選日替わりセール) where the discounted products changed each day. Amazon's official page notes that the comparison price is based on the same product's Amazon.co.jp price since January 1, 2026, not a promise about future prices. For anything you're considering, it's worth checking the product page itself before buying to see whether the deal is actually worth it.
